Worthington Park

Organized horseshoe pitching began in 1976 at Worthington Park which now is home to 12-permanent courts under lights, completed in 1996, that are fully NHPA sanctioned. It also has held several Club and State Tournaments along with sanctioned league play. Moreover, it was the second site to hold a NHPA Northeastern Regional tournament. The Associated Horseshoe Pitching Club of Marion County Parks and Recreation conducts tournaments in the Worthington Park.
